How RaaS works

We sell outcomes with safety and evidence. Your team gets automation without capex shock, with SLAs and dashboards.

1 Discover

Map tasks, define safety zones, set KPIs: tasks/day, uptime, cost/task, incident targets.

2 Pilot

Deploy robots + remote supervision in controlled areas. Prove ROI with weekly reports and logs.

3 Deploy

Scale shifts and sites. Add attachments, train robot supervisors, lock SOPs and SLAs.

4 Scale

Expand scope and autonomy based on evidence—reducing intervention over time.

Pricing models (examples)

  • Monthly subscription: robot access + maintenance + platform + remote supervision
  • Add-ons: extra shifts, higher SLA, attachments
  • Best for predictable workloads
  • Price per pick/scan/delivery route
  • Best for retail audits
  • Works when workloads fluctuate
  • Base monthly + performance bonus (uptime, tasks/day)

Civitas Humanoid Design, Manufacturing & Assembly

Civitas operates humanoids today through RaaS deployments and builds toward a Civitas-designed platform through staged manufacturing: integration → assembly → localized manufacturing → full OEM capability.

What we build vs what we source

  • Civitas-owned: control software, safety states, ops platform, harness architecture, service tooling
  • Partnered: actuators, motors, reducers, batteries, compute modules (initially)
  • Roadmap: own mechanical platform over time as fleet scales
  • Start with SKD (semi-knock-down) kits + local integration + QC
  • Move to CKD (complete-knock-down): local harness, panels, and calibration
  • Localize: metal/plastic parts, enclosures, wiring, test jigs
  • Stations: Incoming QC → Mech Assembly → Harness → Compute → Calibration → Safety Test → Burn-in
  • Documentation: Work instructions, torque specs, traceability, serial tracking
  • Acceptance: functional test + safety states validation + reporting baseline

Manufacturing architecture (what the robot contains)

Mechanical Platform Frame • joints • gearboxes Power & HV/LV Battery • DC/DC • fusing Compute & Control Perception • motion control Harness & IO Connectors • sensors • CAN Calibration & QA Torque • alignment • burn-in Safety Layer E-stop • safe states • limits

Assembly deliverables

  • Serial-based traceability (robot build history)
  • Factory acceptance test (FAT) checklist + sign-off
  • Calibration report + baseline performance KPIs
  • Safety validation: e-stop, speed limits, zone behavior, torque inhibit

Civitas Ops Platform

The defensible moat: fleet health, task logs, intervention tracking, and SLA reporting across sites.

Dashboard capabilities

  • Fleet health: battery, faults, uptime, maintenance tickets
  • Task logs: time-on-task, completion counts, cycle times
  • Safety events: zone violations, e-stop, near-miss reporting
  • SLA reporting: monthly uptime and performance packs

ROI & unit economics (what we track)

Keep it simple: measure weekly performance and align costs to tasks.

Key KPIs must-have metrics
Uptime (%), tasks/day, average cycle time, remote intervention rate (%), incident count, cost per task, cost per shift, and time saved vs baseline.
What ROI looks like common wins
Reduced overtime, improved line flow, fewer stockouts, less time on repetitive movement tasks, and increased supervisor visibility through reporting.
Scaling triggers when to add more robots
Add robots when uptime stays above target, interventions drop, and cost/task beats baseline by the agreed margin.

Want a KPI template?

We can share a weekly KPI pack and reporting format you can use internally.

Safety & human-in-the-loop

Controlled zones, speed limits, e-stops, supervision, and incident reporting. Safety is the brand.

Deployment zones

Define safe paths, no-go areas, and speed limits. Start small, expand only with evidence.

E-stops & safe states

Physical e-stops, software safety states, and conservative motion profiles in shared spaces.

Remote supervision

Humans handle edge cases. Interventions reduce over time as the robot learns each site.

Need an insurance-ready pilot pack?

We structure pilots with SOPs, training logs, risk register, and incident reporting templates.
